4 Troubleshooting Your PC and Using the Setup Program

Using the HP Setup Program

Configure/View
Interface Settings Menu

We recommend that these settings are not changed.

SCSI Channel Interface Definitions:

•

Interface SCSI ID

Changes the interface SCSI ID from its default value of 7 (which has
the highest priority on the SCSI bus).

•

SCSI Parity Checking

Enable or disable host adapter SCSI parity checking. You should
disable SCSI Parity Checking if any attached SCSI devices do not
support SCSI parity (most currently available SCSI devices do
support SCSI parity).
