Replace the metal plate at the rear of the computer. Insert the flat 
end first then push it until it clicks into place.

Connect the power cable and the data cable to the rear of the drive. 

The connectors are shaped to go in one way only

. If you are not 

sure which connector to use, refer to "Connecting IDE Devices", on 
page 27.

Install any other accessories before replacing the power supply and 
cover. Reconnect all cables and power cords.

Verify the new configuration by checking the HP Summary Screen 
(refer to chapter 3 for instructions on viewing the Summary Screen).
