Serial/Telnet User Interface

Beacon Settings

In the System Utility menu, Beacon Settings (5) can be used to locate the router
in the rack.

When toggled on, the Power LED located on the back-side of the router will
continuously blink, alternating between amber and green.

Figure 118

is an

illustration of the Beacon Settings Menu.

Note:

Whenever the router is rebooted, the Beacon Mode is automatically turned off.

To change the setting, enter Toggle Beacon Settings (1).

Options are On and Off.
