sgroupRename

Rename a switch group.

Synopsis

sgroupRename ["oldsgName", "newsgName"]

Availability

admin

Description

This command renames a specified sgroup name to the given new name. The member list for the 
renamed group is not modified. If any parameter is not specified, the session will become an 
interactive session for which all the parameters will be prompted.

Note:

This command is for the FC 6164 switch only.

Operands

This command has the following operands:

oldsgName

Specify a character string in quotation marks containing the sgroup name to be 
replaced, for example “MyGroup”. This operand is optional.

newsgName

Specify a character string in quotation marks containing the new sgroup name, 
for example “MyNewGroup”. This operand is optional.
