If the server blade has failed, remove the controller, cache module ("

from the failed server blade, and install the controller, cache module, and capacitor pack in the
recovery server blade.
5.
Power up the recovery server blade. A 1792 POST message appears, stating that valid data was
flushed from the cache. This data is now stored on the drives in the recovery server blade. You can now
transfer the drives (and controller, if one is used) to another server blade.
Heatsink
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the drives and the
internal system components to cool before touching them.
To remove the component:

Remove the heatsink.
To replace the component:
1.
Clean the old thermal grease from the processor with the alcohol swab. Allow the alcohol to evaporate
before continuing.
