Tablet component replacement procedures

provider. Accessing these parts can damage the tablet and void the warranty.

This chapter provides removal and replacement procedures for authorized service provider only parts.
There are as many as 36 screws that must be removed, replaced, and/or loosened when servicing the tablet.
Make special note of each screw size and location during removal and replacement.

To reduce the risk of loss of data or an unresponsive system, save your information and close all
programs associated with the microSD card.

Remove the card tray:
CAUTION:
To prevent damage to the card or the voice tablet, do not use force to remove or replace the tray.
CAUTION:
Before turning the voice tablet screen facedown, be sure that the work surface is clear of tools,
screws, and any other foreign objects. Failure to follow this caution can result in damage to the screen.
1.
Place the voice tablet screen facedown.
2.
Insert a small straightened paper clip (1) into the card tray access hole.
3.
Press in gently only until the card tray is ejected.
