Before removing the speakers, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the keyboard top cover (see
), and then remove the following
components:
a.
Battery (see
).
b.
USB port shield (see
c.
).
Remove the speakers:
1.
Remove the cable from its routing path (1).
2.
Remove the two Phillips 3.0×5.6 screws (2).
3.
Carefully peel back the foil as necessary to free the speaker cable from the base enclosure (3).
4.
Lift the speakers away from the base enclosure (4).
