Removal and Replacement Procedures

5. Turn the computer display-side up with the front toward you.

6. Open the computer.

7. Disconnect the TouchPad cable

from the system board.

Step 8 applies only to computer models equipped with a
fingerprint reader.

8. Disconnect the fingerprint reader cable

from the system

board.

9. Lift up on the rear edge of the TouchPad

to disengage it

from the top cover.

10. Remove the TouchPad.
