Field Replaceable Units

Hard Disk

Before removing the hard disk, perform the following procedures:

Remove the stand.

Open the system unit.

Perform the following steps to remove the disk drive:

1. Disconnect the SCSI and power cables from the hard disk.

2. Remove the disk retaining bracket by lifting the end closest to the rear of the sys-

tem unit and rotating it toward the front of the system unit, as shown in
Figure 5–16.
