Check that all installed hardware integration
pocket devices are within HP specifications.
The control panel provides only 0.5 Amps to
the port. If an installed device attempts to draw
more power than is provided, the port is
automatically disabled. Troubleshoot third-party
devices with the device manufacturer.
Scanning subsystem
Calibrate the scanner
Use this procedure to properly position the copied image on the page.
TIP:
This adjustment might be required after the scanner or document feeder are replaced.

From the Home screen on the product control panel, scroll to and touch the
Device Maintenance
button.
2.
Touch the
Calibration/Cleaning
button.
3.
Touch the
Calibrate Scanner
button, and then follow the instructions provided on the screen.
