4. Turn the top cover upside down with the front toward you.

Steps 5 and 6 apply only to HP Pavilion dv1400 models. See 
steps 7 and 8 in this section for information on removing the 
system board on HP Compaq nx4820 and Compaq Presario 
V2400 models.

5. Release the ZIF connector 

1

 to which the LED board cable is 

connected and disconnect the cable 

2

 from the system board.

6. Remove the four silver PM2.0×5.0 screws 

3

 that secure the 

system board to the top cover.
