14. Release the ZIF connector

 to which the keyboard cable is 

connected and disconnect the keyboard cable

 from the 

system board.

Disconnecting the Keyboard Cable, HP Compaq nx4820 and 

Compaq Presario V2400 Models Only

15. Remove the keyboard.

Reverse the above procedure to install the keyboard.
