HP 81101A Remote Control

HP-IB Address

You can only set the HP-IB address from the front panel of the instrument
(refer to the

Quick Start Guide

The default HP-IB address is 10.

Modes of
Operation

The HP 81101A has two modes of operation:

•

Local

The instrument is operated using the front panel keys.

•

Remote

After receiving the first command or query via the HP-IB, the
instrument is put into remote state. The front panel is locked.

To return to local operating mode, press

SHIFT (LOCAL)
