The pond water clarity should start to improve
within 2-3 weeks, but full biological maturation
can take 6-8 weeks before the filter is fully
effective.

Check you are using the appropriate filter for
your pond set up.
Wrong size supply pump.
Check your flow rate. See 2.2.
Blown UV lamp.
Replace UV lamp.
