Screw the spoke into a nipple actually, and check that the
thread has been formed correctly.
If it is not in good condition, the head must be adjusted. See
“head adjusting” on next page.

Hold the handle and slide the shaft
until the tip of spoke goes into the
center of the three rollers with aligned.

Pull the handle to the maximum.
Pass the spoke prepared on step
１ １ １ １
through the spoke guide and set it
firmly with the spoke holder aligning
the roller edge and the spoke end.
The roller edge and spoke
end should be aligned.
Pull the handle until it
stops and this is the set
position.
Spoke
Lubricate the roller with cutting oil,
and then push the handle and turn it
slowly and firmly clockwise to cut the
thread. Sharing the power to 9 for
pushing and 1 for turning is recom-
mended. The thread length should
normally be about 10 to 12 mm.
After cutting the thread, pull out the
handle gently and turn it counterclockwise
back to its original position.
Lubricate
If the end of the spoke is not
aligned with the center of the roller
heads by long
- term use, loosen the
hexagonal nut and move the slide
plate up and down to adjust the
height. Then tighten the hexagonal
nut.

Do not continue to cut after the handle
comes in contact with the body. This could
damage the spoke and the head.

Caution
