PHOTO EYE
PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE REMEDY
Photo-eye not installed. Install photo-eye control.
Output relay on power module is
not transferring.
(After 15 sec. delay)
Power module defective,
replace module.
Ice maker is NOT
shutting off when bin is
full, and, signal light on
photo-eye module is
not flickering.
Transmitter or receiver
defective.
Replace defective eye. (see
trouble shooting on page
34)
Transmitter or receiver lens is
dirty.
Clean dirty lens. Signal light on photo-eye
module is flashing
slowly.
Transmitter and receiver eyes
are out of alignment.
Re-align eyes so the signal
light will flicker at a quick
pace (the stronger the
signal, the quicker the
LED flashes).
Power module output will not
close (after 15 sec. delay).
Insert jumper between
terminals 4 and 6 on the
module base. If machine
starts, then module is
defective. Replace module. Ice maker will not start,
and, signal light on
power module IS
flickering quickly.
Remote (optional) on-off switch
is open, (off).
Turn all switches to ON
position.
Time 2 (off delay) adjusted to
minimum setting.
Turn time 2 (off delay)
