E 04 Return sensor short circuit
If a temperature threshold of 125 °C is exceeded, the
con nec ted return sensor is considered to be short-circuit-
ed, re sul ting in locking. This locking fault is also triggered
by tem pe ra ture leaps greater than 50 °C/seconds.
E 05 Locking temperature, return
If the return sensor exceeds a temperature threshold of
100 °C, a locking fault is triggered.
E 06 Return sensor interrupt
If the temperature falls below a temperature threshold of
-20 °C, the return sensor is considered to be damaged,
trig gering locking.
E 07 Flue gas sensor short circuit
If a temperature threshold of 125 °C is exceeded, the con-
nec ted flue gas sensor is considered to be short-circui-
ted, resulting in locking. This locking fault is also triggered
by temperature leaps greater than 50 °C/seconds.
E 08 Flue gas sensor interrupt
If the temperature falls below a temperature threshold of
-20 °C, the flue gas sensor is considered to be damaged,
trig gering locking.
E 09 No flame formation after ignition
If no flame is detected after 4 start-up attempts because
at the end of each safety time, no ionisation was measur-
able, locking is triggered.
E 10 Loss of flame during heat demand
Locking is triggered if the ionisation current sinks to be-
low 1.5 µA more than three times during a single heat
de mand.
E 11 Flame signal without cause
Locking is triggered if a flame is detected although the
gas valve is closed.
E 12 Fan speed outside limits
If the fan speed is outside a defined speed band for more
than 15 seconds, a locking system is triggered.
E 13 Parameters programmed
After uploading a parameter set from a laptop to the au-
tomatic function device, the boiler is automatically locked.
E 14 Fault while loading parameters
A communication fault during loading of the parameters
with SITBIC335Iab has occurred. The process must be
re peated.
E 15 Internal fault in automatic function device
E 16 Internal fault in automatic function device
E 17 (flow - return) > 45K for 10 seconds
If the difference between flow temperature and return
tem perature is greater than 45K for a duration of at least
10 seconds during a heat demand, locking is triggered.
E 18 Safety limit thermostat has tripped
(Safety temperature limiter is not used!)
If the safety limit thermostat trips, blocking of the boiler is
triggered straight away. If the blocking is still present after
5 seconds, the automatic function device is locked (X2.7
/ X2.14).
E 19 Airway monitoring error detected (airway
monitoring is not used!)
The airways are only checked in the pre-aeration phase.
•
Air pressure switch B17 (min. pressure) closes when
the min. pressure is reached.
• Air pressure switch B18 (max. pressure) opens when
the max. pressure is exceeded.
If the switching contact of the air pressure switch remains
open here (min. pressure not reached), or if it opens
(max. pressure exceeded), there will be no start enable
for the burner. The display shows mode 5 (air pressure
switch open). If mode 5 remains uninterrupted for 1 min-
ute, locking E 19 is triggered.
