Keep the room clean
Keep the room in which the boiler is installed clean at all
times and turn off the burner before starting cleaning to
avoid any faults due to dusty combustion air.
2.2 Intended use
The Hoval Uno-3, Max-3, CompactGas (700-2800) boi-
lers are exclusively intended for heating the heating wa-
ter.
The heat produced must be carried away by the heating
water. All boiler openings must be closed during operati-
on.
Only use the boilers if in perfect technical condition, as
well as according to the intended use, safely and with
regard to potential dangers!
The inspection and cleaning intervals stated in the do-
cuments must be complied with. Malfunctions that could
impair safety must be rectified immediately!
The manufacturer/supplier will not accept any liability for
any other use, or use beyond the scope of these defini -
tions, and any resulting damage.
2.3 Explanation of the symbols
2.3.1 Warnings

DANGER
... indicates a situation of immediate danger
which will lead to serious or fatal injuries if
not avoided.

WARNING
... indicates a situation of possible danger
which can lead to serious or fatal injuries if
not avoided.

CAUTION
... indicates a situation of possible danger
which can lead to minor or slight injuries if
not avoided.
NOTICE
... indicates a situation of possible danger
which can lead to damage to property if not
avoided.
2.3.2 Warning symbols
The following warning signs are combined for the war-
ning notes with signal words CAUTION, WARNING and
DANGER.
