3. RFH1-SSB-HS Reservoir Installation
The reservoir collects condensate water from the evaporators of both the refrigerator
and freezer. When the reservoir fills, the float switch activates the condensate pump.
Condensate water is pumped into the condensate pan for evaporation.
WARNING
Verify that the unit is unplugged before installing the reservoir.
1) Remove the nylon tie securing the float switch to the rear cover. See Fig. 3. Pull the float
switch down below the rear cover.
2) Make sure the reservoir is dry, then use the double-sided tape on the float switch to
adhere the float switch to the bottom of the reservoir. See Fig. 4.
CAUTION! Confirm
that the PVC tubing is not pinched or kinked, and that the opening in the float
switch is free of any obstructions.
3) Using the 2 screws provided, mount the reservoir to the rear of the unit. See Fig. 5.
4) Plug the unit in.
