Note:

 It is critically important that vacuum supply lines are located above all lines which carry fluid to 

prevent the aspiration of fluid into the vacuum pump. 

 

5.3.5.  Vacuum Line Kit 

Through constant use, the Vacuum Lines may become occluded with solid material leading to lower 
vacuum and slower flow rates. 

1.

 

Disconnect the T-Fitting from the top of the Water-Waste Manifold. 

2.

 

Remove the Vacuum Line from the rear of the Solvent-Waste Manifold. 

3.

 

Remove the Vacuum Line from the Vacuum Pump. 

4.

 

Discard all Lines and the T-Fitting. 

5.

 

Attach the new T-Fitting to the top of the Water-Waste Manifold. 

6.

 

Attach one end of the larger diameter Vacuum Line to the Vacuum Pump. 

7.

 

Attach the other end to one port of the T-Fitting. 

8.

 

Attach one end of the smaller diameter Vacuum Line to the rear of the Solvent-Waste Manifold. 

9.

 

Attach the other end to one port on the T-Fitting.
