Cleaning Belts and Fold Rollers

If the feed belts and the transport belts are dirty, sheets may not be fed correctly. Also, if the fold rollers are dirty,
sheets may not be folded correctly. Normally, you should check them once a week. And if necessary, clean
them.

5-2-1

Cleaning the Belts

Turn off the Power switch.

Open the register transport sec-

tion cover.

Wipe the feed belts using a dry

cloth while turning the feed belts

to the front.

If the belts are still contaminated, use an

alcohol-soaked cloth.

Lift the roller unit and wipe the

transport belts using a dry cloth

while turning the transport belts

to the front.

You cannot lock the roller unit when it is

lifted. Therefore, when you clean the trans-

port belts, support the unit by hand.

Close the register transport sec-

tion cover.
