INSTALLATION
2.1 BEFORE
INSTALLING
Select a suitable location for the camera and enclosure.
•
Select a location where an intruder is most likely to
cross the range of the detector.
•
Do not place the camera in front of windows subject to
direct sunlight.
•
Avoid locations which come in direct contact with
radiators, heating/cooling ducts, air conditioners, or
drafts.
•
Do not place the camera in front of bulky objects
where camera view will be impaired.
2.2
MOUNTING THE CAMERA
The camera can be mounted directly to a wall or with an
optional mounting bracket for greater maneuverability.
Contact your sales representative for information about
mounting brackets.
To mount the unit directly to a wall:
1.
Open the housing by pressing the snap-fit at the bottom
of the unit and gently separating the front and back
sections while avoiding damage to the camera
connections.
Do not touch the face of the PYRO
sensor.
2.
Remove the electronics board (PCB) screw to access
the rear housing. Refer to Figure 1 or 2, depending on
camera model.
