4. For network connections, assign a TCP/IP Address to the DVR using:
• The LocalView interface
• A Mouse (included)
• A Monitor (not included)
5. Field-test the connection to the DVR.

Communications , page 20 .
Recording the Installation Details
As you start connecting hardware to the Multi-Media DVR, Honeywell recommends that you
make a record of system information (such as IP address) with the site information checklist
(provided in
Appendix C ). Include a record of the hardware connected to the DVR and
changes to the Rapid Eye site configuration using LocalView.
