Connecting USB Device

When a USB storage device is connected to HUSS-E1 encoders
through the USB interface on the front panel, video stream will be
saved on it as well as transferred through network. The HUSS-M
video clients which are connected to that encoder will receive and
display a USB recording event.

Before disconnecting the USB storage device, use a thin object (e.g.
a needle) to press the hidden button on the rightmost of HUSS-E1
front panel for 1 or 2 seconds to safely stop USB storage device,
otherwise the last file written on the USB storage device will be
corrupted.

USB recording is useful when emergencies such as network
breakdown occur.

Start/Shut Down

To start/shut down HUSS-E1 or HUSS-D1, plug/unplug their power
directly.

It is recommended to connect video input to HUSS-E1 before start
the encoder so that HUSS-E1 can detect video input format
(NTSC/PAL) automatically.

If an HUSS-D1 has been configured to connect to an HUSS-E1(as
default, HUSS-D1 IP192.168.0.6 is bound to HUSS-E1
IP192.168.0.3), HUSS-E1 should be in work before HUSS-D1 is
started, otherwise HUSS-D1 should be reconnected to HUSS-E1
manually in decoder’s IE configuration web page.

Restore Factory Settings

To restore factory value, use a thin object (e.g. a needle) to hold
down the hidden button on the rightmost of HUSS-E1/D1 for 10
seconds within 2 seconds before or after the product is booting. The
default IP address of HUSS-E1 is 192.168.0.3 and that of HUSS-D1
is 192.168.0.6.
