ACCESSORIES AND REPLACEMENT FILTERS
If you would like your air purifier to remain effective at reducing household odors, and to operate most
effectively, you should continue to replace the odor absorbing pre-filters. This pre-filter is available as the

My Air Purifier is starting to make noise and the air output is less. What’s wrong?
The filters may be dirty. High amounts of contaminates can block the pores in the filter and stop the air
from moving through it. Replace the Filters.
How long should I run my Air Purifier?
For best results, you should operate your Air Purifier 24 hours a day. This unit will be more effective
when doors and windows are closed.
Can I wash any of the filters in my air cleaner?
Only the washable foam pre-filter can be rinsed or washed in water. The HEPA-type filters and
type
odor reducing pre-filters can not be washed or they will be ruined.
We recommend that you clean the air purifier at least once every 3 months and before extended storage.
Use only a dry cloth to wipe the external surfaces of the air purifier.
DO NOT USE WATER, WAX POLISH, OR ANY CHEMICAL SOLUTION.
If your Air Purifier will not be used for more than 30 days, we recommend:
• Remove the HEPA-type Filters from the unit.
• Wrap the HEPA-type Filters in an air tight plastic bag.
• Remove the Pre-filter and place it in an air tight plastic bag.

The pre-filter helps capture large airborne particles that enter the rear grille. This pre-filter should be
cleaned or replaced every 3 months depending on which style you use, as it will become covered with
particles and fibers that will reduce filtration performance. See INSTALL PREFERRED PRE-FILTER section.

REPLACING THE HEPA-TYPE FILTERS
You can choose to clean or replace your HEPA-type filters, depending on your preference.
To Clean the HEPA-type Filter:
Remove the rear grille by pressing down on the release tab at the top of the rear grille and pulling the grille
away from the unit. Firmly grasp the sides of the HEPA-type filter and pull each out from the unit. Vacuum
the filters with the nozzle of a vaccum cleaner. DO NOT IMMERSE THESE FILTERS IN WATER - they are not
washable. Replace the filters and rear grille as indicated in the INSTALL HEPA-TYPE FILTERS section.
To Replace the HEPA-type Filter:
The HEPA-type filters can be replaced with type
replacement filters (HEPA Allergen Remover Filters.)
To Install Your HEPA Allergen Remover Replacement Filters:
HEPA Allergen Remover filters are not washable, and should be replaced every 12 months to ensure
optimum performance of your air purifier. DO NOT IMMERSE FILTERS IN WATER
• Air purifier should be turned OFF, and unplugged prior to replacing filters (Fig 9).
• Remove the rear grille from the air purifier by pushing down on the release tab at
the top of the rear grille and pulling the grille away from the unit (Fig 10).
• Remove the used filter by gently pushing along the edge of the filter frame and
pulling away from the unit. Repeat for second filter (Fig 11).
Dispose of used filters.
• Remove protective wrap from new filters.
• Note the arrows on the filter frame – snap new filters into place with the
arrows facing toward the unit. Install bottom filter first, then top filter.
Filters must snap in place in order for the unit to operate properly.
• Re-install the rear grille by inserting the lower tab of the grille into the tab
slot near the bottom of the air purifier. Push the top into place until the
grille aligns properly with the unit.
• Plug unit back in. Unit is ready for use.
