Used for fine White Balance adjustment. Set White Balance first using ATW or
AWC then change to MANUAL and press
SET
. Increase or decrease the value of M-WR
(Red) and M-WB (Blue) while monitoring the color of the image (see
Figure 6
). This mode
is best suited for scenes with lighting at a constant color temperature (indoor with
consistent lighting at set temperature).

D-WDR/HSBLC
This camera uses 3D-DNR, which provides intelligent light level control to overcome even
strong backlight conditions.
1.
Move the arrow indicator to D-WDR/HSBLC on the SETUP menu screen using the
Up and Down OSD controls (see
Figure 7
).

Select the desired mode (see the following sections) by using the Left or Right OSD
controls.
OFF
BLC function does not operate.
BLC LEVEL
Select level from LOW/MID/HIGH.
The BLC ZONE can be set to the desired area by changing the TOP/BOTTOM/LEFT/RIGHT
values (see
Figure 8
).
