9. Final mounting
After the electrical connection, fit the operating and display module with the fixing holes to the
mounting frame and push it down .
Take care to activate the tamper switch and not to damage the cables while mounting.

10. Hints for firmware update
Programming of the memory card:
Update of the firmware:
For updating the firmware of the TouchCenter BUS-2 a SD/SD-HC memory card ( 16 GB) is to
be used.
1. Copy the firmware file ETCTF_01V02xx.fdl to the root directory of the memory card. Important:
Only one .fdl firmware file is allowed to be in the root directory of the memory card.
1. Disconnect the TouchCenter from the power supply (a temper message will occur at the panel).
2. Remove TouchCenter as far from the mounting plate as necessary to get the tamper contact
triggered.
3. Open the flap on top of of the housing and push in the memory card (contacts downside and
front visible) until a click is audible.
4. Connect the power supply. The update starts automatically. Duration approx. 90 sec.
After the message: „Update finished, please shut down“
„Remove SD card and restart“
disconnect the TouchCenter again from the power supply.
5. Remove memory card. A gentle pressure unlocks the memory card.
6. Plug the TouchCenter into the mounting plate, be sure that the tamper contact is closed again.
7. Connect the power supply. The TouchCenter starts with the new software and initializes itself at
the BUS-2.
8. Clear the tamper at the panel.
