· The permissible storage and transport temperature (at less than
93 % relative humidity) is between -20 °C and +40 °C.
· The permissible operating temperature (at less than 93 %
relative humidity) is b5 °C and +40 °C. If a risk of frost
exists, empty the system and, if necessary, remove the meter.
3. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
· Thoroughly flush out the pipes before installing the meter.
· If the water is soiled, fit the strainer in the pipe before the meter.
· Install the meter in a frostproof position at the lowest possible
point of the installation to avoid air accumulating.
· Install the water meter in the approved installation position.
· Position the meter with the arrow mark in the correct direction
of water flow.
· The water meter must be free of mechanical stress when instal-
led in the pipe.
· Flange seals must not protrude into the pipe.
· On completion of installation fill the pipe slowly to prevent pres-
sure shocks damaging the measuring insert.
· The water meter must always be filled full with water.
· The meter must be protected against pressure shocks in the pipe.
· Medium: Water without additives.
· The HYDRO-SET software is used for readout/parametrization
and is obtainable free from the HYDROMETER Download Center.
