REAR BRAKE PEDAL

REMOVAL

Remove the brake pedal adjusting nut and brake rod from the
brake arm.
Unhook the brake pedal return spring and brake switch spring.

Remove the brake pedal pivot pinch bolt, shaft and dust seals,
then remove the brake pedal.
Remove the cotter pin and joint pin, then remove the brake rod
from the brake pedal.

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE

• Apply grease to the brake pedal pivot and dust seal lips.
• After installation, adjust the following:

– brake pedal height
– brake pedal free play
– brake light switch
