Change the shift position based on your driving needs.

Electronic Gear Selector
Select the vehicle’s gear using a simple
button interface. Apply the brake pedal
and select a gear.
Park (P):
Press the (P) button to put the vehicle in Park.
Reverse (R): Pull back the (R) button to put the vehicle in Reverse.
Neutral (N): Press the (N) button to put the vehicle in Neutral.
Transmission is not locked.
Drive (D):
Used for normal driving. The deceleration paddle selector can
be used temporarily. The deceleration paddle selector can be
used when SPORT mode is on.
The vehicle can roll away if left unattended without confirming that Park
(P) is engaged.
Always keep your foot on the brake pedal until you have confirmed that (P)
is shown on the gear position indicator.
When you change from D to R and vice versa, or want to change to Park (P),
come to a complete stop and keep the brake pedal applied. Operating the
gear buttons before the vehicle has come to a complete standstill can
damage the transmission.
Car wash mode
Follow the procedure below to use a conveyor-style car wash where you or
an attendant do not remain in the vehicle. Make sure the wiper lever is in
the OFF position. You should inform the car wash attendant of this
procedure.

1. With the power system on, press and hold the brake pedal.
2. Press and release the Neutral (N) button. Neutral (N) hold mode will
appear on the driver information interface.
3. Press the Neutral (N) button again and hold for 2 seconds.
The vehicle will enter car wash mode, which must be used when your
vehicle is pulled through a conveyor type automatic car wash where you
or an attendant do not remain in the vehicle.
If the POWER button is pressed while the vehicle is in car wash mode, the
power mode will change to ACCESSORY.
If the POWER button is pressed after car wash mode has been activated,
the power mode will change to ACCESSORY and a message will be
displayed on the driver information interface.
• For 15 minutes the transmission remains in Neutral (N) and the power
mode will remain in ACCESSORY. After that, the transmission
automatically changes to Park (P) and the power mode changes to OFF.
• Manually changing to Park (P) cancels ACCESSORY mode. The Park (P)
indicator comes on and the power mode changes to OFF. You must
always put the transmission into Park (P) when car wash mode is no
longer needed.
Braking
Slow down or stop your vehicle and keep it from moving when parked.

Foot Brake
Press the brake pedal to slow down or
stop your vehicle from moving.
Your vehicle is equipped with disc
brakes at all four wheels. The brake
assist system increases the stopping
force when you depress the brake
pedal hard in an emergency situation.
The anti-lock brake system (ABS) helps
you retain steering control when
braking very hard.
