11. TROUBLESHOOTING
If there is any abnormal symptom with your tiller, see the following and
troubleshoot your tiller accordingly. If the tiller is still abnormal, consult with your
authorized Honda dealer. Do not try to disassemble the tiller by yourself.
Hard starting
Engine starts but then stalls.
Rear wheels/tines turn without squeezing main clutch lever.

2 Fuel level Add the gasoline. 16
3 Gasoline If the gasoline is in the tank stale.
Drain old gasoline and pour fresh gasoline. 59

5 Engine oil level Add the engine oil to the specified level. 14
6 Air cleaner filter Clean if contaminated. Replace if necessary. 38
7 Spark plug cap Install the spark plug cap on the spark plug
securely. 43
8 Spark plug Wipe the spark plug and let it dry if it is wet and
fouled. 42
