Tyre Repair/Replacement:
Do not install tube-type tyres on
tubeless rims. The beads may not seat
and the tyres could slip on the rims,
causing tyre def lation that may result
in a loss of vehicle control.
The use of tyres other than those
listed on the tyre inf ormation label
may adversely af f ect handling.
Proper wheel balance is necessary f or
s a f e , s t a b l e h a n d l i n g
o f
t h e
motorcycle. Do not remove or change
any wheel balance weights. When
wheel balancing is required, see your
Honda dealer. Wheel balancing is
r e q u i r e d a f t e r t y r e r e p a ir o r
replacement.
To avoid possible repair f ailure and
tyre def lation that may result in a loss
of vehicle control, do not exceed 80
km/h (50 mph) f or the f irst 24 hours,
or 130 km/h (80 mph) at any time,
af ter tyre repair.
Do not install a tube inside a tubeless
tyre. Excessive heat build-up may
cause the tube to burst resulting in
rapid tyre def lation that may result in
a loss of vehicle control.
Replace the tyre if the sidewall is
punctured or damaged. Sidewall
f lexing may cause repair f ailure and
tyre def lation that may result in a loss
of vehicle control.
Do not try to remove tubeless tyres
w it hout special t ools and r im
protectors. You may damage the rim
sealing surf ace or disf igure the rim.
