Removing & Installing Body Components

Battery

Mainten

nce

Disconnect the negative

terminal from

the battery.

Remove the battery from the battery case
taking care not to drop the terminal nut.

Installation

Install the parts in the reverse order of
removal.
Connect the positive

terminal first, before

connecting the negative

ground terminal.

Make sure that the negative

ground

terminal does not touch the surrounding
metal parts while connecting the positive

terminal.
Make sure that bolts and nuts are tight.
Make sure the clock information is correct
after the battery is reconnected.
