BEFORE YOU RIDE
Keep your bicycle in a dry location away from the weather and the sun. Ultraviolet rays may cause paint to fade or rubber and plastic parts to crack. Before
storing your bicycle for a long period of time, clean and lubricate all components and wax the frame. Deflate the tires to half pressure and hang the bicycle
off the ground. Don’t store near electric motors as ozone emissions may affect the rubber and paint.
We recommended that you purchased a heavy duty lock. If you are leaving the bike unattended for any reason, you should secure your bike to a fixed object
with the lock.
• Ensure chain is oiled, clean and runs smoothly.
• Extra care is required in wet or dusty conditions.
• On bicycles equipped with coaster brakes, check for proper chain tension
• Ensure all bearings are lubricated, run freely and display no excess movement, grinding or rattling.
• Check headset, wheel bearings, pedal bearings and bottom bracket bearings.
• Check that the frame and fork are not bent or broken.
• If either is bent or broken, they should be replaced.
