SD and SIM/UIM Installation
Note:
1.
When install SD card or SIM/UIM card, please make sure the operation is under power off,
or it will give rise to SD card or SIM/UIM card damage.
2. Tips for SD purchase: please choose recommended high-quality SD from creditable provider (e.g. Kinston, SunDisk, Transcend and etc), that should be
comfortable for longtime and frequent read & write; the capability should more than 1GB.
3. SD should be formatted after the installation, or there may be SD error with alarm. Format method please refer to section 6.4 ;
4. With the default configuration, the corresponding recording times for different Volume are:

1. SD card installation
Before installation, please make sure the card face up (as in fig 2.5), and follow the steps:
(1) SD card with copper sheet face up;
(2) SD card with missing angle side face the slot;
After these two steps, push it into the slot. When hear “click”, this means the SD card is installed. You can check the
installation status by push the card. When the card can eject, that means the SD card is installed.
