Replacing batteries

• Remove the empty batteries from the battery
compartment

• Insert three new LR6/mignon/AA batteries in
the battery compartment, observing the polarity
shown
(see figure 7).
• Turn the device back into the mounting plate.
Please pay attention to the flashing signals of the device

while inserting the batteries (see „8.4 Error codes
and flashing sequences“ on page 38).
Caution! There is a risk of explosion if the battery
is not replaced correctly. Replace only with the
same or equivalent type. Never recharge standard
batteries. Do not throw the batteries into a fire.
Do not expose batteries to excessive heat. Do not
short-circuit batteries. Doing so will present a risk
of explosion.
Used batteries should not be disposed of with
regular domestic waste! Instead, take them to
your local battery disposal point.
