Function and device overview

ful solar cell offers reliable and independent power supply 
in connection with a NiMH battery. If necessary, the bat-
tery can be charged via the integrated USB port. 

Thanks to the supplied mounting material and radio 
communication, the device can be flexibly mounted out-
side the direct reach of potential burglars. A tamper con-
tact, which responds to manipulation or unauthorized 
disassembly, provides additional safety. If necessary, the 
device can be released from the mounting plate, e.g. for 
charging the battery. 

The weatherproof housing offers long-life use in outdoor 
areas.
Within the extended Homematic IP security solution, the 
signal is triggered even if the Homematic IP Access Point 
or the CCU2/CCU3 may fail or be destroyed by a burglar. 

According to DIN VDE V 0826-1, alarms using au-
dible signalling devices are not permitted outside 
the monitored object.
