Inserting and changing batteries
1. Press slightly on the handle of door while you lift and remove it. Insert or change the batteries in
the battery compartment. Make sure that the batteries are placed correctly. The door is put back
in its place.
2. The batteries must be changed when ‘batt lo’ appears on the display.
As the supplied batteries are for test only, they may be discharged earlier than batteries you buy in
stores. Replace the batteries in pairs. Remove batteries when unit is not in use for extended periods
of time.
How to use the blood pressure device
First time use and setting date/time:
1. First time use after inserting the batteries ‘SET UP’ will be displayed
2. Press ‘set’ display will show ‘dAtE’:
3. Day will flash, use the up or down arrows to chose date, press ‘set’ to confirm and move to
month, follow the procedure for month and move to year select and press ‘set’
4. Display will show ‘hour’: Hour will flash, use the up or down arrows to chose hour, press ‘set’ to
confirm and move to minutes, follow the produce for hour and press ‘set’
5. The blood pressure monitor is now set-up and ready to use, display will show ‘0’ ‘0’ ‘0’ plus date,
time & user number.
6. If you need to change date/time during normal use press and hold ‘set’ to enter ‘SET UP’ and
repeat procedure from step 1.
Note: after 30 seconds the display will revert to default start screen ‘0’ ‘0’ ‘0’
