This product contains (1)1.2V AA 800mAH Ni-MH rechargeable battery. When the
battery expires, it must be recycled or disposed of properly. Please contact your
local waste disposal authority for correct procedure. Do not put battery into fire.

Use a screwdriver to remove the 3 screws on the back of the unit.
2.
Open the battery chamber cover.
3.
Replace the old battery with new battery making sure the polarity is correct.
4.
Place back the battery chamber cover by tightening the 3 screws.
Battery replacement
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY
• Twist the Top Cap (Part A) counter clockwise and remove it from the Glass Lens
(Part B), take out the Pull Tab from the battery door, and then replace the Top Cap
(Part A).

• Insert the Middle Post (Part D) to Hook (Part C), then assemble the Ground Spike
(Part E) to Middle Post (Part D)
• Insert the Shepherd's Hook into a desired location where it can receive a full 8
hours of sunlight to allow the rechargeable battery to reach maximum capacity.
• Hang the Solar Lantern (Part A & B) on the Shepherd's Hook.
Note: Lights with crystalline panels may have a protective film over the solar panel.
This must be removed prior to use.
