14.4 Belt setting
Tighten:
Loosen shaft nut
Tighten belt with
tension screw (1).
Retighten shaft screw
(2).
Adjust belt run:
 Turn a band reel by hand and pay attention to
the run of the abrasive belt.
 Unscrew the shaft nut (3) only a little, (about
1/4 turn).
 Unscrew the counter nut (2) of the setting screw
(1) and turn the setting screw a little in or out.
 Tighten the counter nut.
 Tighten the shaft nut.
 Check the run of the abrasive belt again
manually by hand.
14.5 Replace sanding disc
 Disassemble the working table.
 Pull the used sanding disc off the sanding wheel
(is glued!).
 Clean the sanding wheel from remnants of glue
and other impurities with an adequate solvent.
 Replace the new sanding disc to the sanding
wheel (make sure the surfaces are clean of oil
and grease).
 Reassemble the working table.
14.6 Disposal
Do not dispose the machine in residual waste. Contact your local authorities for
information regarding the available disposal options. When you buy at your local dealer
for a replacement unit, the latter is obliged to exchange your old.
