Gasofen / gas heater GOF4200
Use proper safety clothing and devices when operating the machine (, safety
goggles, ear protectors, safety shoes …)! Do not wear safety gloves for oper-
ating because they decrease the working accuracy and they might be pulled
into the saw blade.
Before any maintenance you have to disconnect the panel saw from the
power source. Never use the plugged cable for transporting or manipulating
the machine.
10 ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION
10.1 Assembling
Screw on the gas hose with the one end on the safety valve and the other end on the reg-
ulator. Check the tightness.
Place the heater and gas cylinder on a flat surface which guarantees a stable position.
Remove all combustible materials.
Open the valve of the gas cylinder.
Turn the knob of the safety valve to the max. position and press down.
Use a torch lighter to ignite the heater near the bottom side.
Keep the knob of safety valve pressed for 20 seconds and then release it.
Adjust the heating capacity by turning the knob of the safety valve.
To shut off the heater close the valve on gas cylinder.
Every part of the heater, espacially the housing, can be very hot. Never touch it during
operation or even 20 minutes after
10.2 Gas cylinder change
This operation should always be done in open air, far from flames or flammable
sources.
Close the valve on the gas cylinder firmly, unscrew the regulator.
Unscrew the Y-bolt to remove the heater.
Follow the steps of „Assembling“
11 MAINTENANCES AND SERVICING
If the gas hose is damaged (cracked, burned, etc.), it should be replaced immediately.
Use only approved gas hoses
In case of long time storage, separate the heater from the cylinder and cover the radiant panels
from dust.
Repair must be carried out by qualified persons.
