7.3.3 Connect the freeze dryer to the power supply

•

Locate the power connectors for the main unit and the vacuum pump at the right

side of the freeze dryer (Figure 8).

•

Connect the vacuum pump power plug to the vacuum pump power connector.

•

Connect one side of the main unit power cord to the power connector and

connect the other side to the electrical power outlet.

Locate the main unit power switch under the touch screen.

•

Turn the power switch to “ON”. A red light will appear to indicate the power
switch is

“ON” as shown in Figure 9. The touch screen should also turn on.
