7.3 Assembling the Freeze Dryer
7.3.1 Connect the vacuum pump to the freeze dryer

The connector for the vacuum pump is located at the upper right corner at the
back of the freeze dryer (Figure 1).

Insert the sealing ring into the vacuum pump connector and place the clamp
around the vacuum pump connector but do not tighten the clamp (Figure 2).
