WORKPLACE
To ensure safety at work, adequate lighting must be provided and the workplace must be kept clean. Do not use the device in an
environment with an increased risk of explosion, or in an environment of flammable liquids, gases or vapours. Use appropriate perso-
nal protective equipment during work and avoid work in a state of fatigue. Ensure that the workplace is adequately ventilated to prevent
the inhalation of harmful fumes generated during work.
DEVICE USAGE
Before starting work, make sure that the device is free from defects and faults. If any malfunction
is detected, do not continue working and return the unit to an authorized service center. Use the
right tool for the job and avoid overloading it. Before starting work, the workstation must be
properly prepared. Grasp the device securely in your hand by holding the handle and press the
„ON/OFF” button. The grinder will start at the lowest speed, which is indicated by one LED lighting up. If necessary, you can in-
crease the speed by pressing the „ON/OFF” button. There are three default speed levels ranging from 5000 / 10000 / 15000 rpm.
Each level is indicated by another LED lighting up. When the maximum speed is reached, the next pressing of the „ON/OFF”
button will switch the device off and the next pressing will start it at 5000 rpm. The unit is equipped with overload protection,
which switches the unit off when blocked or overloaded during operation. To restart, make sure that the cause of the blockage is
removed and press the „ON” button again. To turn off the unit, press and hold the „ON/OFF” button for 2 seconds. Wait until the
grinder stops completely. Then you can start cleaning and maintaining the device. Do not exert too much pressure on the wor-
kpiece or make sudden movements during operation so as not to damage the attached equipment or the device itself. CAUTION:
The unit heats up during operation and as the temperature of the unit rises, take breaks to cool it down. Do not immerse the
device in water or other liquids to cool down. Do not machine any live parts with the grinder.
REPLACING ACCESSORIES
To install/replace accessories, switch the grinder off by switching the clamping button to the „OFF” position. Then press the lock button
with one hand and unscrew the nut of the drill chuck to the memorial with the other hand until the accessories can be installed. Then
slide it into the handle and tighten it back with the wrench, also by pressing the lock button with the other hand. When you have finished
installing the accessories, make sure they are installed correctly and firmly.
BATTERY CHARGING
The mini grinder has a built-in 600 mA lithium-ion battery. The device comes with an uncharged battery. Therefore, before use, it must
first be charged according to the instructions described below. Although lithium-ion batteries do not have a „memory effect”, it is still
recommended to fully discharge them each time and then recharge them to full capacity. If this is not possible, recharge the battery
at least every few cycles. Before charging, make sure that the cable and plug are in good condition, free from defects and damage. It
is not allowed to use a damaged cable. To charge, insert the micro USB plug into the socket of the grinder and then the USB plug into
the socket of the charger equipped with a USB socket, with parameters of 5 V DC 500~2000mA. The display will light up with a red light
to indicate charging. When it is finished, the LED will light up green. Disconnect the charger plug from the electrical outlet and then
the plug from the device.
According to the regulations, lithium-ion batteries are treated as dangerous devices. The user may transport them overland on his
own. When commissioning a transport company, follow the relevant guidelines for the transport of hazardous materials. To store the
battery for an extended period of time, it should be recharged to approximately 70%. Once a year it is recommended to charge the
battery. The battery cannot be discharged completely, as this may shorten its life or cause irreparable damage.
MAINTENANCE, SERVICE, CLEANING
Always unplug the device from the mains socket before performing maintenance and cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth or brush to remove
the dirt. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents. An air stream of not more than 0,3 MPa may also be used. To ensure smooth operation,
the spindle should be periodically oiled.
WASTE DISPOSAL
Damaged equipment, accessories and packaging materials should be recycled and used in an environmentally friendly manner.
