6. Application
6.1. Marking out workpieces
„
Release the locking screw 5 for the fine adjustment mechanism
and the locking screw 6 for the slide.
„
Position the measuring and scribing needle by manually moving it
to the reference point (such as a graduated plate) and press the “SET”
button to set the display to “0.00”.
„
Roughly position the slide 2 by moving it manually (/-1 mm
of the desired value).
„
Use the locking screw 5 to lock the fine adjustment mechanism.
„
Use the fine adjustment screw 13 to position the slide 2 at the desired
value.
„
Use the locking screw 6 to lock the slide 2.
The workpiece can now be marked out.
6.2. Measuring of workpieces
„
Release the locking screw 5 for the fine adjustment mechanism
and the locking screw 6 for the slide.
„
Position the measuring and scribing needle by manually moving it
to the reference point (such as a graduated plate) and set the display
to “0.00”.
„
Manually position the measuring and scribing needle on the workpiece.
„
Read the measured value at the display.
6.3. Measuring with lever dial indicators
Fit the holder with a lever dial indicator in place of the measuring and
scribing needle.
Zero setting:
„
Roughly position the slide 2 by moving it manually close to the
reference (such as a graduated plate) (/-1 mm of the desired
value).
„
Use the locking screw 5 to lock the fine adjustment mechanism.
„
Use the fine adjustment screw 13 to position the slide 2 until the lever
dial indicator shows “0”.
„
Move the slide by manually moving it to the reference point
(such as a graduated plate) and set the display to “0.00”.
