Caution! To avoid electrical shock, turn the appliance off, unplug it
from the mains outlet and leave it to cool down before cleaning and
maintenance.
8.1 General rules
Correct and regular cleaning will improve the safety and extend the lifespan of
the appliance.
8 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning! Do not use any strong chemical, alkaline, abrasive or disinfecting
agents for cleaning the appliance as they could damage its surface.
Warning! Never submerge the appliance casing in water or other liquids.
a) Wipe the casing with a dry cloth.
b) Clean the removable ceramic cooking pot in warm water with a mild
detergent. Leave to dry.
The appliance contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to repair the
appliance on your own. Always have the appliance repaired by a professional.
If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by the manufacturer, authorized
customer service or other qualified personnel.
