Before first use
Carefully remove the appliance from the packaging. During the first use, an unpleasant
smell may be released from the appliance, which is normal and should disappear during
next uses.
Filling of the oil pot
1. Place the appliance on a flat and stable surface resistant to high temperature.
2. Open the lid by pressing the lid release button.
3. Remove the basket from the oil pot.
4. Fill the pot with oil to the level between the MIN and MAX marks on the pot.
Note!
Using clean vegetable oil is recommended. Do not mix different types of oils or fats. Do not
add fat directly to the basket, since this might cause damage to the appliance.
Switching the deep fryer off
1. Connect the deep fryer to an easily-accessible mains socket with parameters compliant
with those specified in the appliance’s rating plate.
2. The deep fryer will turn on automatically which is indicated by a red-lit Power indicator.
3. Using the temperature adjustment knob, set the required temperature in the range from
130°C to 190°C.
4. The Heating indicator will be lit green while the appliance is heating up. During frying the
Heating indicator may light up and go off several times – it light us only when the heater
maintaining the set temperature turns on.
Frying
NOTE! BURN HAZARD! Specific precautions have to be taken while working with hot oil.
1. Place the previously prepared products in the basket.
2. Put the basket to the oil pot when the oil is heated up to the desired temperature. This is
indicated by the Heating indicator going off.
3. Fold the handle using the handle folding button.
4. Close the deep fryer lid until it is locked, which will be indicated by a characteristic clicking
sound.
5. Fry the food in accordance with the reference times listed in section 9 FRYING CHARTS.
Note! Use the appliance only after tightly closing the lid, when it is locked. Never open the
lid during frying. The frying process may be observed through the viewing window in the lid.
6. When finished frying, lift the handle to the top position and open the lid using the lid
release button.
7. Lift the basket and lean the lower basket handle against the oil pot, so that oil could
completely drip from the food.
8. Remove the basket from the pot and place the food in a suitable dish.
Note! While handling the basket, under no circumstances do not touch the handle folding
