8.1 General rules
Proper and regular cleaning will ensure safe operation and extend the lifespan
of the device
1. When finished, turn the device off and disconnect it from the power source.
2. Wait approx. 30 min for the device to cool down.
3. Empty the water tank.
4. If necessary, wipe the device components dry using a soft cloth.
5. Put it aside in a safe place.
Cleaning
1. Before cleaning the iron, wait for its soleplate to cool down.
2. Wipe the iron soleplate and housing with a damp cloth.
3. Never use caustic or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device.
4. Do not use vinegar, chlorine or any other chemical compounds to clean the iron..
Caution!
Do not clean the device with any strong chemicals, alkali, abrasive or
disinfecting agents, as they may damage the surface of the device.
Do not use metal, sharp or rough cleaning accessories, as they may damage the
surface of the device!
Do not immerse the iron or the power cord in water or other liquids.
SELF-CLEAN function
1. Connect the steam iron to the mains, with the power cord base attached.

1. Place the iron on its base in the upright position and set the lock on the locked
padlock icon.
2. Unplug the iron from the power source.
3. Wait until it cools down.
4. Empty the water reservoir.
5. Leave it in a dry and well-ventilated room.
CAUTION! If the thermostat fails, a thermal protection mechanism will
prevent the iron from overheating.
