11. Place the appliance away from other heating kitchen appliances, including stoves,
electric hobs, gas burners, etc.

29. While the kettle is working, do not put your face near the spout, as the rising steam
can be dangerous.
30. Place a heat-resistant pad under the electric kettle if used on a wooden surface, to
avoid damage to the wood.
31. Always keep the lid closed before switching on the appliance, to avoid burns.
32. Opening the lid while the kettle contains boiling water may result in burns.
