RA
Sets RA speed and other variables.
RA sub-menu
Max Speed : Setting the maximum RA slewing speed.
Acc. Rate : RA speed Acceleration / deceleration.
The lower the value, the slower the acceleration / deceleration.
Slowing the acceleration lessens the load on the mount and the motor.
Excessively high Acc. Rate requires a large current instantaneously at the
moment of acceleration, and the drive system also requires a relatively high
torque, which may cause of stall of the stepper motor.
Reverse : Specify the direction of rotation of the stepper motor.
Specify in this menu when the direction of the telescope's direction does not
match the command.
Fast Microstep : Microstep selection for high speed mode.
TCS automatically calculates the optimum value.
Always select “Auto”.
Slow Current (Tracking Speed Current)
Specifies the current required for low speed drive.
